Peter Ostroske is an AmeriCorps*NCCC member from the Capital Region. Originally from Mid-City New Orleans, Peter started his service one month after Hurricane Katrina forced his own family to evacuate by boat. In a twist of fate, his first assignment found him back in New Orleans - assisting with the disaster relief effort.
