When catastrophic weather hits the Oklahoma City area, Heather Campagna along with her fellow AmeriCorps*NCCC team members are sent to aid the American Red Cross with bringing essential items to families and individuals left without homes or with badly damaged homes. As the devastation of what's happened around her sinks in, Heather realizes the things that really matter: community, compassion, and strength. Her story is titled, The Human Spirit.

After serving a quarter century as a Foster Grandparent in Missoula, MT, Kathryn Felstet decided to retire, but is planning frequent visits to the Head Start program where she volunteered to keep in touch with faculty members, other Foster Grandparents, and the preschoolers.
