When Joyce Keeler found herself with time on her hands after retiring as a nurse several years ago, she signed on as an RSVP volunteer and a member of the "SWAT Team" with the Johnson County Volunteer Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Serving with numerous projects gave Keeler the chance to get to know a dozen groups.
