Less than seven months after challenging corporate America to deliver $1 billion in pro bono volunteering support for nonprofits, Corporation for National and Community Service CEO David Eisner hailed $280 million in new pledges that pushed the campaign tally past $406 million, announced new research spotlighting the untapped potential for pro-bono volunteers, and unveiled a new campaign brand, A Billion + Change.

Ross Meyer did more than get a bachelor’s degree while a student at Miami University of Ohio. He also participated in alternative spring break programs, tutored GED classes, mentored young people, led housing construction crews, and coordinated after-school and summer youth programs. And he created a service-learning program, Over-the-Rhine Weekend Experience: an Introduction to Urban America.   Ross Meyer did more than get a bachelor’s degree while a student at Miami University of Ohio.
